“Having the ability to talk with passengers and then talk with other cars all while listening to music thru your helmet headsets is amazing. It make the off roaring experience so much better. The voice operation allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and in control is great.”

“In 2021, I purchased a Rugged Radio kit through Kawasaki for my KRX1000. The kit was great and worked flawlessly until most recent (2023). The car to car intercom system worked great, but the driver to passenger intercom system stopped working. I made several camping trips without the intercom system working, and it was frustrating to say the least. I contacted Rugged Radio and made an appointment to take my KRX1000 to them, for help diagnosing the problem. Rugged Radio Tech Austin diagnosed the problem to be internal within the 696 intercom dash unit. AUSTIN AND RUGGED RADIO REPLACED THE 696 UNIT WITH THE UPGRADED 696 PLUS UNIT FREE OF CHARGE. RUGGED IS A COMPANY THAT STANDS BY IT PRODUCTS. RUGGED RADIO YOU HAVE MY LOYALTY!!!!!!”

“I installed the intercom on my utv to be able to talk to my passengers. The best part though, is I have connected it to a radio and have purchased the single seat kits and radios that I installed on my kids’ atvs so I can always communicate with them while on the trails and the dunes to keep them safe and let them learn and enjoy the offroad life! I love being able to bluetooth in my music also! I will also be ordering another one for another utv and have convinced some of my family and friends to get it also.”

“I bought the Rugged 696+ for my Polaris General before our annual trek to Quartzsite. The installation was straightforward enough but the real treat came when we were out on the trails. It was so nice to be able to have a conversation with my passenger and not struggle to hear over the engine noise. The Bluetooth feature is very simple to use and having music from my phone while driving was awesome.”
