Does what a handheld is supposed to do. Very nice to have while riding. I will say, it definitely does not excel in terrain. Not overly suprising as it was disclosed in Ruggeds description comparing GMRS to business radios though.

I purchased two handheld. One for a camp radio and one as a loaner for anyone we are with without an in car radio. They work great for both instances.

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with the handheld radios! It's great to hear that they are working well for both your camp radio and as a loaner for others without an in-car radio.

Just started using this radio. It seems to work well with other Rugged radios.

I am more than pleased with the service provided by the team at Rugged Radios. I contacted them in reference to a charging issue i was having with my V3 units. I was called immediately and my problem was resolved. Myself and six other buddies all use the same V3 unit when we go out on desert rides. All I can is Thank You and Great Service.

Simple and convenient to use. Ive used other brand hand helds but they can be very complicated to program and connect with other groups. I am usually in small groups and this radio works great. We generally refuse to get out and ‘spot’ for one another. The radios allow is to chime in advice for others.
