“I'm a long-standing fan of Russell and Attwell chocolates and pounced on this offer as soon as it hit my Inbox. The taste of honey together with pieces of walnut is different to anything I've tasted before. I like both flavours in their own right but wasn't sure what to expect of the combination; it is amazing - the honey and walnut compliment each other beautifully. The walnut somehow reduces the sweetness of the honey and the honey reduces the 'earthiness' of the walnut. Delicious.”
“Sadly, the honey walnut micro batch didn't hit the mark for me. The walnut competed with the honey rather than complimenting it and the walnut flavour grew stronger every day, resulting in the taste of the honey becoming increasingly lost. They also arrived warm and crushed. The hazelnut was as good as ever but has the milk chocolate become sweeter since the company started up??
I do think having micro batches is an excellent idea and the previous flavour, strawberry and white chocolate, was a stroke of genius (and I'm not usually keen on strawberries in commercial products). The freshness of the puree/light jam is a taste and texture that, as makers of fresh chocolates, only Russel and Atwell can do.”

I’ve never had walnut or honey in chocolate. Honey should definitely become a thing in chocolate if it isn’t already!”
