It is the PIN code that is the licence for the map, thus preventing fraudulent repeat installation of a map disk on many vehicles. This special order item is for the map and a PIN code for European maps. The PIN code is tied to the vehicle VIN and to the exact map version. If you get the wrong VIN, the PIN code will not work, and we will NOT be able to refund you as we will have already obtained the PIN code.
