Very in depth look at poems and writing them evolved. Fun ideas - loved the objects. The sharing was inspiring. We shared with Christchurch so added extra messages. Was so nice to do it for them.

I have saved this kit to use this term as I have been off term One with a ruptured Achilles

This kit has been amazing. We were a little rushed at the end of the term to complete the work but I was super impressed with the enthusiasm from the students and our community. Our display looks amazing.

Some interesting artefacts/resources and we got a lot of good discussions. I presumed that there would have been a full-on Social Studies unit attached to this kit but there didn't appear to be.

This kit fit in perfectly with our topic for the term. There were so many interesting things in the kit and even I was excited to look in the box!

I used the kit as a springboard for my Year 10 class to investigate what women were doing to promote all aspects of sustainability in our community. I felt that it was important that the students understood that without the right to vote it would be impossible for women to play a part in such important area for our society as sustainability. The kit helped me teach about the suffrage campaign in a fun and interesting way which captured the imagination of the students. It was then easy for them to move on to investigate what prominent women in our community were doing to promote sustainability.

We loved this kit - some content challenging for my Year 7 students but the Year 8 kids loved it.
