Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Physically being able to manipulate the bricks pieces and creations meant there was a heap of oral language we could build on and explore. I also found the suggested activity of being able to create our own farm invention using the thing, that, for cards

“This school kit was an absolute hit from the get go. I decided to focus on team building and developing skills for working together by placing learners into small teams and having them work together to build the foundation of the bricks farm. This worked really well as they had to communicate effectively with each other to successfully build the farm. We then had a day of activities based on the suggestions provided - which were so useful. This was a huge success and the various degrees of scaffolding meant that every learner experienced success during this literacy learning. This is something that I can see doing every year in class.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I loved using the farm kit because it helped me to read and follow instructions. I loved the farm kit because I got to create my own farm and use my imagination to solve a problem

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The task were students designed their own farm/solving a problem using the thing that for cards. This was a great challenge that helped the students to see the different way farms are used but also to problem solve and invent a way to fix a problem

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The children still talk about using the farm kits and how much they loved the activities. Our farm kid was used during our farm themed week which the children loved.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Constructing each unit/part (i.e we built the tractor and then looked at parts that make up a tractor). Helped promote oral language.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The Lego was awesome it was very creative and the kids were able to get creative. They learnt lots about how different food grows.
