How did the context of farming allow your learners to explore and develop literacy? My students are early learners to literacy and we were able to introduce the bricks on the same week as we learnt the letter F. It was Fantastic!

“The Farm Bricks were the perfect introduction to our topic of farm. The students were engaged and excited. Building with the bricks is a great way for my year 0/1 class to practice their fine motor skills while also allowing the ability to interwork all the curriculum levels. We were able to build some of the packs together however due to their age and skills I took the rest of the boxes home to complete the build and did a big reveal the next day. We have finished this topic but the students can and do keep folding back to the bricks to continue exploring both farm as a topic and building on their own imaginative worlds. The game included was not yet used but I have popped it aside to introduce later in the year. Thank you so much for this engaging school kit! From A6 at Chapel Downs”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I liked that there was trucks so I could drive them around. I liked that there were animals.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Desiging a tractor was a great way for the children to think about what jobs might need to be done on a farm and how the tractor would make the jobs easier. We had some very inventive ideas.
