I made the milk tanker with Whaea, and I know it is Taraka miraka in maori. Liked working in the small groups with WhaeaI built the quad and got to do some of the tractor. I liked building with the lego especially when I got to do it myself. It was my best time of the day playing Bricks Farm.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
The resources in this kit are used several times a week in class. I have found bricks Farm has the tamariki motivated to still use the kit now (after having it for months), they work together and lots of great korero occurs.

How important is it to you that classroom resources are made from recyclable materials and are reusable?
How did the context of farming allow your learners to explore and develop literacy?
It is a concept familiar to a lot of our tamariki so listening to lots of interest words and explanations of how machines work etc has been really valuable.
