Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I made the milk tanker with Whaea, and I know it is Taraka miraka in maori. Liked working in the small groups with WhaeaI built the quad and got to do some of the tractor. I liked building with the lego especially when I got to do it myself. It was my best time of the day playing Bricks Farm.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The resources in this kit are used several times a week in class. I have found bricks Farm has the tamariki motivated to still use the kit now (after having it for months), they work together and lots of great korero occurs.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? this kit was impactful as it helped to develop team building skills throughout my classroom. It introduced my students to a lot of new te reo words.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? i think my students will remember their learning with this kit because it was hands on and it was a lot of fun.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them Daniel (Year 2) Mrs P told us about her farm, her photos were really funny, there was heaps of mud! The best part was making the milk Tanker with Nate. Kakukura (Year 2) I liked playing with the lego people, I made a garden with the veges. The game was fun I won because I know my animals in maori. Tommy the game was okay, it was a bit long, drawing stuff was cool.

“Our Inquiry group shared the making of the Lego farm vehicles and buildings. This was part of our Tukana/Taina time. At Inquiry Time each group rotated and played played the game. Sometimes we played as buddies. Our Tamariki used the game to practice their Reo. Other activities in the classroom built on the vocabulary included in the game. During our IF (Inspiration Friday) programme, we used Learning through Play to learn about the roles on a farm. I told and showed photos to our urban Tamariki about what happens on my family farm. It was lovely to see their play reflecting some of the stories I told about growing up on a farm.”
