Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them The farm brick pieces generated disucssions and questions. We had many big talks about vegetarianism!
Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The bricks becuase they were the most tactile - and children talked as they built, shared and played, developing language and social skills.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That much of their food has a big journey, from the farm to the table.

“In my year 2 class, the 6 and year 7 olds enjoyed opening and making the farm lego bricks. More guidance in connection with the curriculum would have been helpful. We made a te reo link but some of the sentence structures were too hard.”

“Five year old children found them difficult. Some connecting pieces either went missing or were not there. Pieces too small and fiddly for younger chidlren.”
