Which kit components were the most impactful and why?
the lego pieces were the biggest hit as they are open ended, accessible to all and so much fun! Te play scene mats are fun for animals and cars and provide a base for creative play and great oral language discussions, and the coloured die can just be used for so many games , the coloured die.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
I think sharing would be the biggest one and then lots of oral language discussions about farms, farming and animals, and about the land around us. They had to negotiate and share resources and that can be a challenge when you are 5.

How did the context of farming allow your learners to explore and develop literacy?
Mine learners are very new to school and some are still visiting from Kindergarten and so are not reading and writing yet. But this kit certainly supported their oral language and their ability to share and discuss
