In what ways did the Teacher Journal challenge you? Actually I found this more empowering than challenging, although it was tough to navigate some of the biases in the room.

In what ways did the Teacher Journal challenge you? It made me think about how I approached a topic and areas I had not considered. While I'd like to think I am aware of bias and the fact we all come from different starting points I had not considered explicitly acknowledging those differences and the lack of representation of some cultures in our everyday world and making an effort to ensure different cultural voice is represented in out work / topics

“We are yet to use this due to changing circumstances, but the kit looks great- very good reflections for kids. I don't think it will be a direct match for our SS programme, and would ideally suit a cross curricular unit”

In what ways did the Teacher Journal challenge you? As a historians we find that we already have a natural challenging perspective in the way we learn and teach but this was useful for non historians or social sciences.
