“School kit content and materials were spot on. The activities and tasks were age appropriate and sparked the students interest. We were able to debate and discuss the topic with ease and it allowed our students to be able to tackle a topic that can be a minefield. Students continued their conversations into other subjects giving this a real cross curricular vibe. Highly recommend. It is very much part of our teaching program for the foreseeable future.”

How effective was the use of social Media for Fighting Social Injustice I think it raised awareness. Most students experience of social media is for entertainment and some have experienced bullying through it. Quite a high proportion didn't realize it could be used as a way to protest injustices

How effective was the use of social Media for Fighting Social Injustice Unfortunately as social media is banned at our school we were unable to do this part of the kit.

In what ways did the Teacher Journal challenge you? It made me confront a lot of my own unconscious bias. We also used the circles with student teachers, as well as students.

“Awesome resources covering a range of topics. Forcing students and staff to confront their own unconscious bias! The posters in particular served as a great springboard to dive into events and their impact on different people in society! The different 'types' or examples of racism allowed a number of students from different background to relate.”
