In what ways did this kit empower your students to challenge racism?
We were looking at our local history and this helped to highlight repetition of racism throughout history and we looked at what institutionalised racism is and what it looks like in NZ. This was probably the most empowering aspect, as students were able to identify underlying "normalised" racism here and some students felt empowered to share their experiences of racism.
