How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Children are loving this kit! I have kept it on the wall and now we are back in lockdown it will be so great having it there for when we return to the classroom.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Children were more confident talking to me about their problems, and discussing things that they know they can change, and understanding that some things we can't control.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The kit provided us with lots of talking and sharing opportunities which really helped to develop the students confidence and self esteem
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It's given students another avenue to communicate with me without having to start a conversation. I'm picking it will be well used when we return to school following lockdown

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? the children are finding the booklet discussion starters very engaging.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? First few pages of the booklets has helped me to get to know the children in new and deeper ways. Also peer-t0-peer understandings have increased helpfully.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The contents have been great with self-reflection. It has also helped the learners in building awareness of those around them.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It has opened a doorway for freedom and comfort of speech. It has allowed my learners to understand that they will not be judged.
“I enjoyed the kit as it tied in very well with our pubertal change talks. It helped my students to reflect and realise that they are not alone. That others also feel what they are feeling. It helped them touch on their self esteem issues and how to build resilience around this. It also opened up a doorway to conversations with me that they at first did not feel comfortable having.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Some has such as the booklet, but the charging wall not as much I was would have liked too.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? I was able to tell emphasis that in our classroom it is a safe environment, were you feel comfortable. With me or with a peer you have gotten close to.
“So far it is a really well prepped kit, however I tend to get lost on how to use it effectively in class. Especially with the charging wall. There isn't enough instructions on how to use it other than displaying and what it is about. I do love the booklet though, my students enjoy working in those.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? They are fun and engaging and make the students want to use them.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? They encourage students to use them independently so that they feel safe should they not be feeling 100% it helps the students discover how they are actually feeling independently from their friends.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? I found this kit was more helpful for relationship between myself and the students.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It's given kids the confidence to tell me issues they are having without having to start the conversation. They are able to tell me things even if they don't want to talk about - just want me to know what's happening in their world
“This was a very worthwhile kit!! My Year 5/6 class had some really important and deep conversations because of it. As soon as I set it up I had 2 kids fill in the sheet just to tell me that something had happened at home that morning - so valuable”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? I think that the range of resources was really good and ties in with our school beginning to work with the Zones of Regulation. The two had a lot of systems in common so I was able to use the kit to support this.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? As a teacher I was able to get a better idea how the individual students felt about themselves throughout the day. It was great to see the empowering it gave the students. I think that the students could be more open and honest.
“This kit was valuable with a lot of varied useful resources. The children used parts of it with another resource I have called Zones of Regulation.”
