The kits were great. I was able to understand the children better in terms of how they are feeling. The kits will continue to be used in the classroom. Thank you

Absolutely loved the daily check in system. Such a great conversation to have with the students about feeling different levels of emotions and it being okay, but that communicating how we're feeling is important. Good reminder for us as teachers to acknowledge the different experiences that each child brings to kura each day. This was the key element used from this box, but will continue to implement the others further. Much appreciated, amazing initiative.

Great introduction to get students talking about their own self care.

Fantastic kit. It enable many of the kids to let the teacher know discretely how they were feeling and how we could help them out. It was such a worth while exercise. The kids found it valuable aswell.

Kia ora, we haven't had a chance to use our kit yet. Will be using it in Weeks 6-10 of Term 3. Love the resources in it however. :-)

Such an amazing kit! Thank you for allowing my class the opportunity to use this school kit. I unfortunately haven’t started using the kit yet. However over the holidays I have set up the recharge station on my wall and gone through the information on the school kit squad website and the teacher guide. I have planned out using the guides a term overview of lessons and plan to start using and teaching the Dove Self Esteem school kit starting next term.

This tied it well with the lessons we wanted to teach in class and I hope to continue to refer to this as our school embarks on our learning journey of Pause, Breathe, Smile.

This was an excellent resource and one which I think should run throughout the whole year. It fitted extremely well with our Hauora inquiry especially when we were discussing and inquiring into the emotional and social areas of Te Whare Tapa Wha which are sometimes the hardest to find concrete materials to help with the teaching and learning. Through the use of this unit we were able to open discussion around a wide variety of issues and as a teacher I discovered so much more about the children. that I would probably never had learned without this resource. They loved role playing also as it is not something I have done much but will do this more often now.
