The four part 'self-confidence' model was a very powerful prompt for discussion. It linked in with the whare tapa wha model, which the kids are very familiar with. I believe that the letter responses were the most powerful element of the unit.

The daily 'self-charging station' was a powerful prompt for communication. It shifted the focus of some student-teacher communication, but shifted some student to student communication too (which was the more powerful outcome in my opinion).
