“I used the kit with a Year 7 class. It was easy to use and appealing and engaging for students. I like that we developed a language to use in class for talking about emotions and checking in with ourselves and each other. Great for building self-awareness and confidence.”

However, in our open plan setting, using the envelopes for displays proved challenging due to the lack of respect from students in other classes. On the bright side, the journals and parent letters were valuable resources that we successfully utilised. Overall, the kit's effectiveness may vary depending on the classroom environment. The challenges I faced might not be relevant to educators in more controlled environments,”
