How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? This term has been quite settled with Covid so haven't really seen any evidence of this kit helping. It certainly would have last year and in 2020 with lockdowns.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? This has been amazing. It has opened up opportunities for me to connect with students who normally wouldn't open up to me. We haven't finished the book and will work through it in Term 4 and keep up with the rest of the kit too.

“Fantastic resource. My students in particular have liked the tokens and have used them everyday. They like the confidentiality that this gives them to share how they are feeling on the day. If they are in red I will have a quick chat with them. I have discovered some things I wouldn't have known about if we hadn't had this kit. It has been great to do this alongside wellbeing and puberty.”

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? Covid hasn't really impacted our classroom this term. Only a handful of students have contracted it causing them to be absent.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Students who love teacher conversation have enjoyed this kit as it has given them another conversation/deeper topic. Some more shy students have begun speaking more about their feelings.

“Overall this was a lovely kit to undertake with the class. The exercises and videos allowed us to communicate in a more open way about our thoughts, feelings and emotions in a way that would not have been otherwise possible. The charging station enable the students to check in on themselves each day and use the cards to give their peers positive messages and support. The booklet afforded the students the opportunity to look deeper into themselves and record their thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-threatening way. I firmly believe that the kit bought the class closer together and has produced a more empathetic classroom environment.”
