“I spoke to the students about the feedback form that I needed to complete. They were very keen to share their thoughts and ideas. Key thoughts were that the Charging station should stay for the year! They love the ability to choose a token and then have a motivating card. “The kit had lots of great ideas but unfortunately it was targeted too high for years 4-6 which is the years we wanted it for. The children enjoyed the tokens and the daily check in, and it was a good way to see how the children were feeling each day. The cards were a good idea but the ideas too wordy and complex for the children to understand. It was better to create lists of suggestions to do at level and then the children could choose how to charge their battery or pay it forward. The booklets were too small for the children to write in. They loved having the teachers fill them in and the parent letters. A colleague I worked with rewrote this kit and found more interesting and age appropriate activities to do.”
