We felt that it was a little too young for our Intermediate School aged students. Instead we gave out a red card to all students to keep in their tote trays incase they needed to access it

“This resource fitted in really well at the start of the year as we got to know each other a little better and the students explored their own identity, their Pepeha and shared who they were and who they belonged to. We also spent some time in class developing our Class Tiriti and identifying class expectations. we explored relationships, what were they, how we developed and maintain positive relationships and how to identify relationships that were not so positive. This resource allowed us to have a quick check in with our 32 students each day to see how they were feeling at different times of the day using the little yellow disks. We tried to use the Boost cards as a way of showing manaakitanga, rangatiratanga, whanaungatanga &; kaitiakitanga (our school goals). We found that the boost cards fit in really well with this theme and students looked at it like doing 'good deeds'. With COVID hitting our school quite severely we weren't able to really implement these cards so we hope to continue using them throughout the year.”

“This was my first School Kit that I have received. I loved the ease of how it was set out, easy to follow instructions. The display for the wall was capturing for the students.
