How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? Too successful where children have the confidene to approach all situations and adults. Where it is a suprise but also amazing the children have built confidence and self awareness

How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? It has helped my students to understand that they are not the only ones who struggle, and that if they have bad days they are usually followed by ok or good days.

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? Resilience has definitely been an issue during COVID. This pack has helped students to understand that they can take ownership of their emotions, despite the craziness going on in the world.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Love the tokens for this. I was able to get to understand my students on a new level thanks to the tokens.

“The Dove Self Esteem kit fit in beautifully with setting up our tamariki for a great start to the year. It helped to instill strategies, places, and key people that they could go to, to 'recharge' their batteries. Resources, booklets and lesson sequence were great! Thank you.”

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? It was so good - particularly the daily check ins and the emphasis on making specific choices in making good choices/building others up

I was able to have some very important conversations with a few children early in the morning .... which ultimately helped them to cope better throughout the day and hopefully feel like I w

How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? Kids have developed an understanding of their own emotions and accept that it is absolutely okay to have any feeling - it's just a matter of how we deal with that feeling. They love to give each other a boost.

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? It has been tricky to get continuity with different learners away at different times - some of them for more than a week. However, it was picked up quickly when they came back to school.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Many kids are supporting others - basically random acts of kindness - when they are in the green zone. They are giving compliments to each other which changes the tone of the whole class. When times are tough, I sometimes prompt them to the self charging
