How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? My students now understand that it is ok if they can't explain properly in English. They can now 'slow down' and take time to think about what they want to say.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Being a class of 11 means student-teacher relationships and communication is already a STRONG part of our class culture but this definitely added to it.

How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? Some students really grew while others still find it difficult to share and be positive about themselves.

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? Covid has not really affected our school as we are very small with very few families.

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Somewhat, we used it in conjunction other self-regulation tools.

How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? The part that was most useful was the Dove videos and applying that to the way they thought about themselves.

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? We had too many disruptions to be able to fully implement the learning and be able to concentrate on the basics.

“There are many activities that we used that were helpful but we modified what we did as we had a disrupted term with absences. We are still using parts of the resource. We are still waiting on the delivery of the World Record Kit, would love to have used that one last year when we were meant to have received it. I have tried requesting it again and giving feedback on not receiving it. All of the kits have so many good resources, the NZ History kit will come in handy again this year.”

How has this kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? My student's knew that they could let me know about what was going on for them without always having to say it out loud.

How has this kit helped develop your student's self confidence? We have talked through what helps and harms our esteem and become excellent at building each other up through shared goals. The internal work is taking a little longer for some.

How has this kit impacted your class community during covid times? N/A covid has not been an issue for us this year.
