Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The booklets as it was used between home and school. Even though we have a zone of regulation chart in the class, they liked the box as nobody but me and a TA got to see their response.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? I think that taking the books home is important as they can go back over the information when really needed.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? As year 5 and 6 they need a lot of activities based on friendships and dealing with their emotions. This kit allowed them to do that.

The children liked the post it box for putting their token. Great work books that the children could work through. I liked the idea of the booklets going between school and home.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I liked being able to tell my teacher what I needed without having to stand up in front of everyone. I didn't realise that my words were hurting my own feelings, I can go to the charge up station instead when I need some help.

How has this kit helped develop student resilience? Our kids were already pretty resilient (possibly too resilient) and not asking for help when they needed it. Over the last 2 weeks, the kids have been able to decide when to get support, and actively seek adult assisstance.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? The children are noticing what's going on for each other, and being supportive (mostly) by offering reminders to use the strategies for supporting themselves or getting help
What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? The kids have better language to talk about what is happening for them, and they are more able to seek support (peer, self or adult)
This kit came at an opportune moment for our Year 3-5 class. We had started noticing both negative self-talk and some bullying popping up as term 3 came to an end. This gave us a safe way to check in, and connected well with the PB4L that has already been implemented.

"I liked the booklet that we could fill in and take home. It helped me realise who the people are in my life that I can talk to about things."

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The feelings boxes, opened their eyes to how some of their peers were "feeling" about themselves, when they may not be showing any outward signs.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Positive affirmations, and students knowing their strengths, as well as having a quick visual reminder of the strengths their peers see in them, perhaps when they struggle to recognise it themselves.
In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence Sharing daily positive comments or affirmations of observed strengths in their peers really helped them to realise they do have lots of different strengths. They also knew that if they were having a bad day, they could revisit their previous comments of their peers, for a 'pick me up'.

The students enjoyed discussing many aspects of the kit, and how many factors can influence their day to day, feelings around self confidence. How many small moments or comments can improve or break down someones self confidence, and that it isn't always clear to see/hear how confident people are because they might be "putting on a brave act".

We used this Kit as a part of our Te Whare Tapa wha term focus! Our class fully utilised the Charging station and did regular "check ins". This was a great way to help teach self regulation, noticing how we were feeling and what we could do to "Recharge" our batteries!

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I like to use them after lunch time to help me feel better. I like how I can write on the red cards and share with my teacher to help me if I want too.
Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The cards in the pockets, easy for children to read and find, as well as choose what colour level they were feeling. The note from the parents was lovely to have what was special about them written on paper for them to read.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Being to recognise how 'charged your battery is' and giving options to do something about it.
