Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The tokens in at the start of the day and checking in again after lunch - the kids felt heard and had someone in their corner

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them "I really enjoyed watching the 'You're more beautiful than you think' clip because you can't always tell what people are thinking. We need to remember what people might be feeling even if they don't show it." "I liked having my own journal to do my work in."
Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Daily check in tokens. This was really effective for those students who found it tricky to verbalise their thoughts/feelings.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Learners are much more competent at discussing about themselves, how they feel, what they feel strong at and what they can do to change how they feel.
In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence Students were confident to use the charge station and didn't mind what others saw/did. They are confident to share and discuss their thoughts and strengths in front of others.

“The Dove kit has been a great addition to our classroom in Term 4. It worked beautifully alongside our health unit where we were focusing on relationships, growing & changing, and support systems. The students made great connections between the tasks and activities in the kit and Te Whare Tapa Wha which we used to base our health unit around. The check-in discs worked well and students improved their ability to have in-depth discussions about a range of issues.”

“My class have benefitted a great deal from this resource. It has provided great opportunities for them to identify their emotions and, on a daily basis, check in with how they are feeling. It has provided a chance to privately let the teacher know how they are feeling, and given some strategies to self-regulate. I highy recpommend the resource.”
