Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The tokens - easy to use and quick.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That it is okay to have a wide range of emotions, and not always be feeling 100%

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence It was up to students to run this. They encouraged each other to look at the cards and use the check in tokens.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? It has encouraged a culture of it is okay to not be okay, and an awareness that not everyone is always feeling great.

“I found the students developed agency when using the tokens each morning, thinking about how they were prior to the beginning of the day. They loved the tokens - nice and easy to use. It allowed me to easily see who I needed to touch base with as well. The charging station worked well for some students, but I did struggle to get some into it.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them It was fun and didn't feel like normal school work. I think it has helped me to be more confident.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The use of shared language through the displays with great as it allowed student to discuss things they might not have been able to before.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Hopefully they will use what they have learnt over the next year to continue to grow and hopefully set them up for success at high school

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence They are able to be more comfortable around each other and it has helped jell the class with a shared experience.

How has this kit helped develop student resilience? The kit along with our own school health program has shown students it is ok to fail but it's what we do after that will determine if we let things overwhelm us or bot

“The kit was a great assist for my new class. I had a couple of kids come in with low self confidence in them self and I can see they have begun to take on the learning and put it into action.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I thought the kit was great because I liked being able to show how I was feeling. I really liked the flow chart on the back page as I could follow it to see how I might be able to solve my problems.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Booklets, they could each independently think about their own feelings, strengths etc...

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? We are all talking about our emotions more and how we can regulate them.

“I thought the self-esteem books were great for our learners to focus on themselves and what makes them unique and amazing. It is really beneficial to be able to recognise emotions and how you are feeling and what you can do to help regulate these emotions.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The charging station. It is bright, easy to use and is relatable to the students age.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That its ok in a day to move through all the zones, as long as you have the tools to reset yourself.

The Charging Station-it provides an opportunity for students to check in, provides opportunities for students at green and yellow to regulate themselves, and at red students are given time to reflect on how they feel, and who they may need help from. What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That they are beatifully, and wonderfully created by God, and God does not make mistakes, that their feelings are important and valid, but they can move on from it no matter how bad, and I hope that they are more resilient.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence There is more openness and sharing of the different cultures and the way things are done. When students hear inappropriate put downs they are quick to speak up. There is more risk taking with some of the quieter students.

Most students are able to self regulate, check in at the Charging Station, follow the prompts, however there are a few students who still found there feelings so overwhelming and there first response is to have a tantrum either at school or at home.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? Mostly positive. I had ordered the kit with one particular student in mind prior to the start of the year. Unfortunately this kit has no impact on him as there are other problems that need to be addressed.
