“Power it up was an amazing way for my students to grasp a better understnading of how basic electrical circuits work. The kids were fully engaged in this and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unfortunately I am unable to send photos through as my ipad was stolen during the term and with it went the photos.”
“Thank you so much for the power kit and my children had a ball with it. I have planned an hour every Friday for children exploring and learning about electrical circuits. Children used the kit to experiment different circuits as well as design their own. Their faces lit up when the LED lights lit up.

The video is bit too fast for children to comprehend and we could not get the buzz circuit go work.

“A fantastic resource to use in consolidating learning on electrical circuits. We all learned how things work - especially batteries. Students were engaged in tasks, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills through the range of tasks in the booklet. We loved the hands on activities and being creative with our drawings and creating our own circuits. It also provided a great way to introduce measurement in a real context by students orgaising all their equipment, which included measuring out the required amount of copper tape. We had it last year as well so this year some chose to go beyond the booklet and create their own pictures using the materials in the box - so not only learning a bit of science we had some great creativity going on. Lots of chances for problem solving getting the buzzers to work and seeing just what could be added before everything stopped working.”
