Thank you so much for the amazing Disney letter tiles kit. My year 1s use them every day during literacy and maths. They are so engaged with them and they have since started their own shop and restaurant in the classroom.

We had great fun opening the Disney tiles, sorting, playing the games suggested and even adding our own twist. I can see that this will be a popular activity during literacy time this term. I can't wait to see what other ideas they come up with.

Room 1 at Holy Family School have had the most amazing experiences with the Disney tiles. I put a little call out for more tiles and we now have hundreds. Opening the packets has been so cool. This has meant we can all play the games at the same time. We love it! Thanks so much School Kit and Countdown. This is something that will use in the future.

Thank you school kit. All of the tamariki loved the countdown tiles. Every day they are used in the classroom. Their oral language has improved as well.

My students in Room 10 at PCS loved this kit! We even added our own tiles to the mix. The fishing rods were a huge hit and we even learned about some new foods along the way as well as a fun way to practice spelling words. Thanks schoolkit!

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. The conversations around these tiles and kids retelling me the whole movie story has been amazing. Lots of my kids struggle with their oral language but these tiles were a great motivation! Thanks so much.
Wow! The kids absolutely loved these and so many bought their ones in to the classroom to add to our collection. We made a picture graph as we opened the first 50. Then we started sorting them into the movies to see if we had all the different tiles. Out of the 100 we only ended up with one Kristof which started a discussion about how some are harder to get - so maths objective for level one probability covered! Once they were all opened I just put them out with no other resources for the kids to explore. They mainly stayed on the picture side. Next I put them out with the whiteboards and pens and demonstrated how I could spell my name and then write it on the board - away went the kids and then they started spelling other words as well. One girl even had a whole word family going - cat hat mat sat fat. The next step was to introduce the food side of the kit. So I put out the fishing lines and the shopping list cards. The kids are used to playing bingo and they played with the cards this way too. This was the most popular way to play with the tiles - they loved that they stuck to the magnetic fishing lines!
