Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. We are constantly looking for ways for our learners to recognise, say and make the sound for all the letters of the alphabet. From here they begin to read, spell and use the words independently. The biggest outcome for me was seeing the students use what
The Countdown tile pack was amazing. It was a ready to go program of fun and learning. There is nothing better than receiving something that can be instantly used and introduced to the class. Set up for early morning exploring, the tiles and the fishing rods became hugely popular. When we introduced the cards for completing words and for bingo the students thought it was Christmas. The playing against each other, against themselves and just had so many laughs while playing and learning. What a brilliant resource. This is one of my all time favourite School Kits of all time.

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. So popular it went 'missing' for a couple of weeks. Thankfully it eventually 'found its way' back into our class.
Fabulous resource which can be used multiple ways. The children loved the fishing rods activities. Very popular amongst our class.

The tiles were a fantastic resource to use with my junior school children - they enjoyed the challenge of making different words! The pictures of the Disney characters was a little distracting for their learning, however, they of course loved it!

I really enjoyed the Disney tiles. The children were really excited and motivated to open them and see the games. however, my children were NE (just 5) and I felt probably a bit young for some of the games. I gave them to a year 1 teacher (5/6 year olds) and she found the games to be a bit better suited. Thanks for the resources. The grocery game was cool. Children loved the fishing rods!!!

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. I expected some students to be very engaged and others to be kind of engaged. But surprisingly this was a highlight for majority of our kids who enjoyed seeing characters they know, a brand where most shop weekly and food they were familiar with. This is
Using this kit almost every day with different children at different levels was such a great and fun addition to my classroom. From children who are working on letter identification to students who are learning how to spell large topic words this was a great source of learning. We have been doing a unit on sustainability and the variety of food that was displayed on the posters helped spark discussions of food waste and how we can do better as a school community to reduce this waste. Thank you so much for this awesome kit, we are so grateful for the opportunity to take part in this awesome initiative!

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. A link to our spelling skills happened organically as children discovered they could make new words by substituting the beginning, middle or last letter of a word. The excitement was real!
Room 10 have loved using the tiles in a variety of ways and has become a regular part of our literacy tumble. The bingo was a huge hit as was the shopping list!

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. The kids enjoyed unpacking it. They set up a shop, used the letters to spell their names and common spelling words. They played by buying and selling groceries and used shopping and money vocabulary. It went well with our Financial literacy unit and lesso
