We are loving the tiles games we can play! Today we are doing some maths, finding out what letter is most common, least or if we even have them all!

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. Many people have helped us to increase our collection of tiles. I was surprised that the children did not seem to have a problem with the upper case letters.
Wow! Room 4 was buzzing when they were opening the tiles. There was much excitement and discussion. We now have an amazing resource that can be used for many years.

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. The tiles were used in so many different ways from making words , fishing for the shopping lists and bags, dominoes, trading and so much more. They had to learn to take turns , share, problem solve, trade all while spelling words and matching!
Relatable and fun. Our class have done and will continue to enjoy using the countdown tiles and resources during maths, literacy and learning through play.

Just love the Countdown Tile Kit! Lots of excitement when opening the tiles and the fun and learning has continued with all the different learning activities - a favourite being Crazy Sandwiches. So cool being able to link and teach literacy and numeracy together with this resource.

Engaging kit that is more than tiles. The fishing rods were a hit as were the sandwiches. Simple bingo games, memory games and words making games proved to be very successful.

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. The team work, sharing and story telling were an unexpected bonus. Thanks for a fun resource.
Our class loves the tiles. we have been bringing in our own as well to add to the kit. Lots of oral language opportunities. Only down side is they are all capitals so some of the children have difficulty making words.

Tell us about an unexpected outcome from having used this kit. Fun tool for children to use that engages them in literacy activities. They are all so into it !! Tiles are now available for children to play with during literacy time and they have learnt different games to play with them.
Kids have absolutely loved playing different games with the countdown tiles and it has been a great tool to use to get them recognising letters and building words.
