What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? With the way that we pieced together the world record (the coloured cards) I think I could use a similar style to work on sentence structure and punctuation.

The students really enjoyed this kit. They were highly engaged as they created researched and thought up unusual records.

What was the most unique record achieved and why? The most orange coloured pencils transferred from one point to another using only our toes.

This was so much fun for the kids and they didn't even realise how hard they were working. So much learning happened, more than you think and I know it was the highlight of the day for most of our students. Will definitely be doing this again! Thankyou!!

Our class has really enjoyed creating and attempting world records this term. It was a really good tie in with the Olympics 2024.

How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? Measurement, statistics, time, height, balance - so much. We repeated certain activities many times as it aligned with our kori tinana (fitness) programme .

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? I think it is important to share this with other staff. They are not aware of the resources available to them which have such perfect alignment with the curriculum. It is fun and it is most importantly educational. Students engage and are proactive in the learning. It also it very good for differentiated learning and tuakana teina as ALL akonga can share their skills and strengths,

Kit was very helpful. It meant I did not have to think about what to do. Ideas came fast from the cool examples. Students engaged well. We even used so schoolwide. Thank you for making learning fun!

This kit was fabulous and fun, the students loved earning 'badges' for DIY World Records and it was a nice link to the Olympic games. It encouraged creativity, literacy skills and also some great math skills in measurement as we recorded and each students world records. Thank you
