How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students?
Measurement, statistics, time, height, balance - so much. We repeated certain activities many times as it aligned with our kori tinana (fitness) programme .

I think it is important to share this with other staff. They are not aware of the resources available to them which have such perfect alignment with the curriculum. It is fun and it is most importantly educational. Students engage and are proactive in the learning. It also it very good for differentiated learning and tuakana teina as ALL akonga can share their skills and strengths,

MnM chopstick challenge. Because, we didn't realise how hard it was to use chopstiks. What a cool skill to learn.
