It took me a little bit of time to get my head around this resource but this was largely because I was overthinking it! This was the perfect activity to finish off our measurement unit and use the cross over days following camp. We actually used the resource across multiple classes within a team. Students put a lot of thought into their record attempts and a lot of fun was had.

What factors contribute to breaking a record? How do cultural or technological advancements affect record-breaking
It enhanced student's understanding of measurement concepts and encourage them to explore the world around them through the lens of record-breaking achievements. By utilizing real-world examples of world records, students can grasp abstract concepts more concretely and apply them practically.
