How did the kit components encourage mathematical thinking for your students? We tied in statistics, decimals, and time as well as mean, media, mode and range.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We've also incorporated te Reo place names and revisited the meaning of the longest place name. This is a local place for us, so we also discussed distance to travel there from our kura and how many students have already been.
