My students loved the record kit. We chose a day in the afternoon when they could attempt to break the records they had created. There were fun ones and some harder ones, but everyone had a go at some. Some students asked me when they could try to break the record and how many records they had.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? There was so much we could do across the curriculum, not just mathematics.
We used this kit in conjunction with the Paris Olympics, which worked so well! It was easy to follow and enabled the children to 'think outside the square' when coming up with their own world record ideas.
