What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? As a class we explored technology, social sciences, science (Planet Earth and Beyond strand), literacy and the arts (visual art and dance), some aspects were preplanned by me while others evolved organically, inspired by students interests.

“A creative kit that I will definitely make use of in the future. It encouraged cross curricular learning experiences and the development of interests that might not always be encouraged in a junior classroom e.g. learning how explorers navigated in the past. I found the video clips and suggested books very useful.”

“I found it quite tricky to use with the students but probably no fault of the kit, more the fact that Covid happened in between and it is it got too difficult with everything else. I will definitely get school kits again. I love to use them.”
