What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? I found the stories that were linked on the website were useful starting points to cross curricular learning opportunities.

How did you find the open format of this kit? I liked that it was open ended and you could steer it which ever way you wanted to but I just found it was pitched too high and I had to adapt a lot to use it.

“I personally found that the kit was a little beyond my Y0 class so we didn't fully utilise it. The instructions took a few reads to get my head around and although we enjoyed some aspects of it and used it as inspiration e.g. sea animals and family links, we had to take it quite far from the kit to make it work for us. The dice were great and I shared them with a Y3 teacher to use in her room. We also used the this and that cards which have been enjoyed too, so much so that we have added to our set.”

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Parts of the kit were catered to meet certain areas of the curriculum, but I can also see how some activities might be a springboard to open into other curriculum areas

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? With this kit it was easy to take this cross curricula, with writing produced and beautiful art.

“This kit linked so nicely to our topic in term 1, identity and exploring who we are. There was unlimited activities and learning experiences that came from this kit. We loved the videos clips that linked, and the oral language that came from my year 1’s was amazing. We had such a fun time exploring the whales before lockdown. Hopefully now we are out of lockdown we will continue to explore some more activities provided in the box. Thank you!”

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Again didn’t get to experience all that I had hoped to BUT the cross curricular opportunities were present in all parts of the kit! Story telling dice were super cool for creating discussion too!

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? This was a great kit for us. We have been learning about New Zealand during social science so it tied in nicely as an extra activity. It was also good for literacy as we did the poems.
