What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? The story dice are good way to engage the children to think and come u with ideas without, the blank page that often scares some children.

How did you find the open format of this kit? I liked the freedom to do it my way but also having the opportunity to see what others are doing too, the kit always makes me think as a teacher how it can best suit my classroom and the learning it generates.

“It looks really great and we had put it into the beginning of term 2 but... it was not to be. I thought about trying to adapt it to online and decided against it. I would like to start it when we get back but it will depend on what that looks like. I kit is too good not to encourage collaboration and rich talk. So there it sits in its box waiting for the right safe time. Sorry no photos.”

“The diversity of this resource was brilliant for our NE children. Very cross-curricular, including sharing at team assembly. The children worked in teams to bring 4 parts of the story together through a variety of mediums. The journey of Kupe allowed us to look at our personal journeys, those of our ancestors and our local area.”
