What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit?
We loved the stories, especially the sea creatures - this is our fascination and interest it seems. We used our imagination through drama to be sea creatures, how they move, eat, what they would say, how they feel.

How did you find the open format of this kit?
It did take me a little while to get my head round the fact that there was no right or wrong, and that the children's interests would dictate how far and the direction the investigation and conversation would go.
