“My class enjoyed taking part in the exploring kit. The home and school partnership through the question cards was very good. We learnt some new waiata and linked this to learning some songs around Matariki as well. My class are still using the question dice a lot. I have found that some of my more reserved students have opened up more and are more willing to share their opinions.”

Exploring their family story was a great activity to do especially after lockdown - talking about bubbles and people who they hadn't seen for a long time. The story telling cards were awesome especially for some of my students who need more support when writing. Using the math tokens in their literacy to come up with addition of different cards had some great results too.”
