What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit?
Some good questions that encouraged the kids to use much of the precise vocabulary they had learnt. Also used some questions as writing prompts. The art activity was perfect. Kids investigated two science activities related to planting of waterways.

I used parts of the resource that were closely connected to key ideas in From Grass to Glass. These were: A day on the Farm, Why farmers plant trees next to streams and waterways, Paint a farm of 100 greens, Ask great Questions. Prefer more direct format.
