How did you find the open format of this kit? Initially I found this very difficult to navigate as I did not know where to start. I would of liked more ideas on activities that could be used with each of the cards which would make planning a bit more easier.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? The story telling dice were very useful in writing. I have used the number cards in maths and converted it into a memory type game. and told some great number stories linked to mathematical concepts.

We also extended our learning by visiting a nearby dairy farm. The pictures in the kit, as well as the map, helped my children develop a better understanding of the important components of a dairy farm and the journey our milk makes from glass to grass.”
