What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Although we are not using the farming kit until next term when we hopefully have our farm visit. We have looked through the kit and we are able to fit it into our unit of the Living World. We have also incorporated into healthy eating.

How did you find the open format of this kit? We liked the open format as we were able to use it to support our own teaching and school wide theme for the term. Sometimes it would have been better to have a bit more support with providing specific lessons.

“Our children only just started to explore this wonderful School Kit before entering lockdown! We had engaged with some introductory activities and discussion which presented some promising future learning in this area. The amount of flexibility this kit offered was amazing. I found I could explore this topic in so many different ways which also meant that I could adapt the learning to suit my learners better! I look forward to getting this back up and running this term.”
