“Thank you School Kit, Warehouse Stationery and NZ Post for another imaginative and inspiring kit. My students loved the mapping, the 3D glasses and the confessions through poetry. Always a great beginning of year kit to fire up their passion for writing. Thank you for the extra time allowed through lockdown too.”
“I have been fortunate to participate in several of these kits. They never disappoint and the class each year have amazed me with their enthusiasm and detail in their work. This year we were lucky that our kit arrived just after we returned in Level 2 and this was an unexpected and lovely surprise to not only get connections back with our class but also with our buddy class. Thank you School Kit and Warehouse Stationery.”
“The kit was amazing this year. It was great to be able to focus on the poetry genre. The highlight for my kids was learning the meaning of the word anonymous... Their book of 'Naughty Poems' we created is a favourite in our library corner and is often accompanied by giggling children. Thank you!”
“The kit itself had so many rich learning activities in it. Unfortunately due to COVID it really disrupted the learning that took place in regards to the in depth modelling needed throughout the activities and kit. The students were very challenged with the tasks, but we managed to achieve very creative posters and explore in more depth google maps. Thank you for creating a very rich learning kit. We would've loved receiving a package from our neighbouring school that would in as much interest into the kit as us. My students felt discouraged with the pack we received as ours was very complete and interesting. This was a pivotal discussion point about differences and it being ok as everyone has been affected in different ways due to lockdown and experiences. (Year 4 students)”
“Oh my goodness! What a wonderful way to get started for the year (even if it did end up being a bit mucked around by covid-19. My class absolutely loved being able to complete this kit. I loved being able to teach poetry (something that is not one of my strengths). My class were so excited to know that their hard work was off to someone else and are eagerly anticipating their buddy classes work back. Thank you so much for this wonderful resource!”
“I don't think I have ever been so relieved for a courier bag to leave the building - it was challenging, a little bit too challenging on hard days. Interesting, edgy, 50/50 driven by me and the students. We kind of team tagged it and felt like we'd run a marathon most weeks. Yes, very relieved to send it to the front office. Very memorable though. Cheers”
