“My class loved the addition of 3D glasses as part of the kit. It was such a reconnection to the classroom when we received our buddy class postcards and journey poster after returning from Covid 19 closures.
Using the concept of the journey from us to them was a great way to incorporate maths with our writing.

To me it was difficult to understand and I didn't find the attached resources relevant or meaningful. I also didn't find that the activities flowed so it seemed very staggered. I have loved other kits but this one was a no for me. Sorry”
“This was my 1st Get NZ Writing kit as I've previously worked with juniors. We found some of the writing in this kit challenging but the students pushed through and enjoyed writing about being a little naughty; although some students were adamant that they have never been naughty! They were somewhat disappointed to not have the postcards to decorate as they had seen in previous years. They enjoyed the 3D glasses and loved the Google maps aspect of the writing. The last poem activity was quite tricky for year 5 especially after lockdown and not being in formal writing mode for awhile. The goodies were much appreciated! Thanks, Stationery Warehouse.”

“I take part in the GetNZWriting kit each year and each year it delivers high-quality writing for my classes! This year's poetry focus was a fantastic ice-breaker, enabling the sharing of naughty memories of our younger years. We loved creating our poem cards for our partner class, shared a little 3D printer symbol too as a way of connecting and although dampened a bit with lockdown, sprung back to life as soon as school reopened.
