Students needed to use multiple sources of information to complete the tasks and often think out of the box.

How has this kit influenced your confidence in STEM teaching and learning? Wow, yes in so many ways. Making the buzz planes made me realise that there are a multitude of ways that I can be teaching STEM without having a huge outlay of money or time. Students were so engaged and so was I.

“I have done many kits and they just keep getting better. Both students and I learnt so using this kit. So much STEAM learning. Students had to collaborate to solve the riddles, and it was great to see all the students get excited to solve the riddles. The kit is full of great resources to support the learning and fully engage all students. It allowed all to participate, and they especially enjoyed making both the paper and buzz planes. Individual students have latched onto different skills too and have pursued these skills at home which is also awesome I.e. paper plane making, Morse code and flags.
