In what ways did the kit allow development of strategic thinking for your students? There were lots of opportunities for discussion, agreeing and disagreeing which helped build respect in the class.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Students wanted to go and do more research and find out more. This allowed us to work on questioning and research skills and well as presenting to an audience to share their learning.

How has this kit influenced your confidence in STEM teaching and learning? Was great to be able to integrate different learning areas through this kit. Kids were doing maths and writing without even noticing!
“Was great to engage the students. Lots of hands on activities and a range of different activities. There was opportunities to extend students and have them challenge themselves with further research. Lots of fun.”

How has this kit influenced your confidence in STEM teaching and learning? I am confident to teach STEM and would of liked more (battery) plane kits to go to more groups as with a big class size the group to make the planes were too big. One battery didn't work.

In what ways did the kit allow development of strategic thinking for your students? All students regardless of their ability needed to think about how they were going to solve the problems - it was brilliant to see them working together to 'nut' things out and find the answers.
