This was a awesome activity and our class really enjoyed the day solving the code activities and building the planes. We dressed up to add some atmosphere and learnt a lot about one our New Zealand amazing icons during this kit. Thanks for this awesome resource and learning opportunity

Fabulous resources. The kids loved cracking all the codes and discovering the next set of clues. We splurged on helium for the balloons and spent three full days slowly working through it all. Even when students failed to meet the demands of challenges- making it acrosss for mayday, they enjoyed the journey. Buzz motor wires were a struggle- we needed to strip the wires so that they would connect. Feedback on behalf of both teachers at our school.

The children loved making the paper planes and the buzz planes. I learnt a lot from this kit too.

A great experience that they students really engaged with. We side tracked on to some of the other areas of impact of NZ history with the students who used this set as an inspiration.

The process was so easy to follow and integrate into the classroom!! The students loved the interactive nature that I was able to provide. The challenges were so user friendly for each age and ability. Will be great to recreate the experiences again.

This was an amazing kit! My students loved learning about Jean Batten and her accomplishments. Students were very engaged throughout the challenges and really had to push themselves and their thinking. There was a lot of trial and error and perseverance. Everyone wanted to carry on with the challenges. Thanks again for another great one!!

Thought the kit was great. Did find the telegraph part slightly confusing. Would of been a bit better if the activities followed on to the next.
