The title says it all! I haven't done little circuits with my classes before. This prompted a lot of discussion, and an interest in making more; this would have been great for my previous years class that had some children who were interested in electricity/circuits. The morse code cracking, led to a rich discussion about what it was like in the world during this time. We discussed other forms of communication, and talked about how technology has evolved since then. It was a great unit of learning to move us towards our NZ histories in term 3. Thank you School Kit and sponsors for putting together another amazing kit for our akonga.

This kit was really good for challenging my Year 4 and 5s. They loved it! The need to communicate and work together within their team was a huge component of the kit and I enjoyed watching different students take on leadership roles. The unit sparked a trip to the Classic Flyers Aviation Museum in Mount Maunganui which we are excited about and doing next week! Thanks School Kit and Sponsors!

The children loved having kiwi content on a forever hero. The pieces were unique, thought provoking and engaging. An all around win!

A fantastic addition to our current flight unit. The kids have been thoroughly engaged through the challenging yet captivating lessons. We loved mapping Jean Batten’s venture and playing the mayday game.

Our Year 7 and 8 students spent two days over the activities. While a lot of prep work was needed, the activities were engaging and challenging. Lots of new learning and especially collaborating in teams had to occur. This alerted us that our students needed more support with collaborating in groups. We did not do the activities in order due to our numbers of students - 53, but it still worked really well. What was really important was the variety of learning styles that was incorporated throughout the activities. The children still talk about these two days which we did back in the early weeks of term 2. We had to adapt some activities - the stepping stones weren't big enough for our students feet, we tried to gather more buzz plane equipment for our numbers which proved hard. The pig pen codes on the website caused problems as the dots weren't visible. Great reflections were made by the kids - including that they loved the badges! Thanks for another great kit.

The students in our class loved this school kid! It was a great chance for our children to work collaboratively and lead into our inquiry unit really well. A highlight for our students was the morse code task and the buzz planes.

Hi School kit, My class and I loved this kit! It complimented our history focus perfectly. I did find the timing a bit hard to fit in. Would be great for end of term deadlines!
