What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? I will introduce some Brain Box kits to my class. I did find that some of these activities were a little too challenging for my year 0/1 class. It was difficult for some tamariki to stay engaged with the activities.
What opportunities arose for cross curricular learning while teaching this kit? This kit worked well in our play based environment and encourage lots of oral language, math and literacy

How did the components of this kit allow your students to explore the topic of energy transformation? Lots of key concept learning. We were able to break down basic principles &; having practical ways to engage our students was excellent. Great variety of activities was pleasing as well.

How did the components of this kit allow your students to explore the topic of energy transformation? The kids loved that we had hands on activities but it was hard to do in a class of 24 students as they needed a lot of teacher assistance, almost 1 on 1.
“It was good but a little hard to process at times - it was hard to find the order in which to teach. Having all the materials was fantastic. Some of the links on the videos were incorrect.”
