What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? I think it was The students could connect to a very abstract notion of energy. The playdough circuit activity was well received and posters were useful.

How did the components of this kit allow your students to explore the topic of energy transformation? my class enjoyed all the activities but needed lots of teacher input to grasp the concepts/outcomes lots of interest in building Rube Goldberg machines, this interest carried through into learning through play and carried on for the term I had difficult

“Kia Ora, we are still waiting patiently to use this kit. My college accidentally ordered hers for this term and I ordered mine in term 1 . We are both year 2 teachers and planned to to this together with our classes. I will send through photos etc when we get to use this - my guess is next term as we are currently in lockdown.”

I am not sure if this kit has been set for the correct level considering how much reading was required by students for some of the activites and year one and two students struggled with not only reading the cards but actually comprehending what they meant
