Our Hub of year 2,3 and 4's loved the LGL. It worked in perfectly with our Paddock to Plate theme. The children loved being able to grow their own vegetable / herb and this was carried through to their homelife too for the children that shopped at NW.

Thank you to School Kit and New World for the awesome resource that you sent our class for term 4. It was a great use for my year 3 and 4 tauira who enjoyed watching the seedlings grow and thrive. My tamariki are a hands on rōpu who love getting their hands dirty almost as much as they love to eat so this ticked all the boxes!

Each day they would come up to me and tell me what changes they had noticed and were very excited to replant their seedlings once they were big enough.

The children absolutely loved this Little Garden League Kit and were very motivated to grow their own seedlings/plants. All children got their plants to grow. However, we had to plant our seedlings out during the last week of term 3, and most of them did not survive over the 2 week holiday period. I feel a little more guidance about how long to keep them inside, when to put them outside to harden off would be super helpful! This would really help those of us who don't have much experience with gardening.
