What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? When our gardens grow, we will make something to eat.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? It has taught them how to grow their own dinner.

In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? There were lots of opportunity for cross-curricular learning. We were able to write procedure writing on how to grow your own plants and in maths we learned about time and measurements.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? -making patterns in maths using the codes, writing a recipe

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? The children were now more aware of different types of vegetables and they were willing to give it a try.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Fed well into healthy eating. Loved how New World was doing this promo too - as it took it out of school and into the community.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? Students became more aware of the variety of vegies and how to say the names of vegies they already knew in English.

“Just an awesome professinally curated resource! My year 3 and 4 students loved the whole thing and especially loved the badges and memberships!! The kids LOVED seeing their seeds sprout and their were shreeks of excitement when their particular pot started to sprout!! Thank you very much! The kids just love gettign their own little thing to take away - the seedling pot - the badge (one of my students was wearing his the other day and it is December!!) etc.”

Sustainability: Children understanding that something as small as a seed can produce nutritious food for them to enjoy has been a new learning. having to care and look after something just how their parents do was a great sense of self management in class

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? The children's knowledge of nutrition and taste buds has grown immensely. At the beginning there were some 'odd' plants that were new to the children. They were able to research and find information and facts about the plants they were caring for.
